Hand-finished by Colin

This book of lined paper has a cover that has been hand-finished by Colin using traditional bookbinding skills.  The inside pages have been selected to suit the style of the book and are suitable for writing with most media.

Specification

• Size:  250 x 190 mm approx.   160 pages (80 leaves) stitched to allow book to open flat
• Cover:   Half-bound in Japanese kingfisher silk cloth.  Special high quality Japanese Chiyogami blue, gold & red paper
• Endpapers:   Japanese Chiyogami red and gold geometric paper
• Paper:   90 gsm approx. lined, ivory, smooth paper, ideal for writing
• Finishes:   Red headbands.  Red satin ribbon and elastic tape closure.   The last page carries an embossed stamp specially made for these books.   A materials list is included with each book detailing all the materials used as well as the specification (see samples in gallery images).

This book contains paper of a certain type and is fit for that purpose, but the suitability of this paper across all the many different types of media (ink, paint, pastels, crayons etc) cannot be guaranteed. If in doubt test a small area first.
