Long-tailed Tits at the nest

‘Long-tailed Tits at the nest’.  A new painting in watercolour and graphite pencil of a male long-tailed tit bringing a feather for the female’s approval, to furnish the almost completed nest.

We were lucky to have these nesting close by and see lots in the winter on the feeders.
